RQM Tutorial is constantly exploring ways to expand our family of educators. As a young company founded in 2011, we have grown tremendously with the support of the entire staff and students at RQM. Educators

 

We are looking for highly qualified instructors who can lead classes of up to fifteen students. Prospective applicants should understand that being an educator is a very demanding but extremely fulfilling profession. Those who want to become educators should expect to devote their weekends helping our students grow and learn as individuals. Weekdays are optional. Salaries are very competitive and commensurate to the employee's capabilities. There are many positions for growth within the company. 

To be considered, applicants should have:

  • High School GPA of at least 3.5
  • College GPA of at least 3.7 (if applicable)
  • Excellent communication skills

We greatly prefer:

  • New York City Department of Education teachers
  • graduates of the specialized high schools (especially Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, and Brooklyn Tech)
  • undergraduates at Columbia and NYU in addition to Hunter, Baruch, and CCNY through the Macaulay Honors Program

Teaching Assistants

 

RQM Tutorial is looking for competent teaching assistants who can assist our educators. Prospective applicants should understand that being a teaching assistant is a very demanding but extremely fulfilling avocation. Those who want to become teaching assistants should expect to devote 4-6 hours per week helping our students grow and learn as individuals. Although the position is unpaid, our teaching assistants gain a ton of valuable skills along the way. In addition, becoming a teaching assistant (and excelling at the position) is a direct pipeline to our paid educators program. There are numerous positions for growth within the company. 

To be considered, applicants should have:

  • High School GPA of at least 3.5
  • College GPA of at least 3.7 (if applicable)
  • Excellent communication skills

We greatly prefer:
